If you acquire a cloud hosting plan from us, you will be able to set personalized error pages for your websites quickly and easily, as this feature is part of all of our packages. After you've created the files and uploaded them to your website hosting account, you can check out the Hosted Domains section of your Hepsia CP and click on the Edit button for the selected domain or subdomain. In the pop-up which will appear, you shall see drop-down menus for all 4 sorts of errors and for each of them you may select an Apache default page, a generic page from our system or a customized page. If you select the 3rd option, you should just enter the URL to the file that you have uploaded and save the change. A different way to set custom made error pages is to set up an .htaccess file in the domain or subdomain folder and to add a couple of lines of program code in it. All Linux semi-dedicated plans which we offer support custom made error pages and it shall not take more than several clicks in your Hepsia web hosting Control Panel to use this feature. The option can be found in the Hosted Domains section of your CP where you will need to type in the links to the custom-made files using simple drop-down menus and an intuitive interface. Of course, you should upload them to your account before that. In case you do not need to use this function at some point, you will be able to deactivate it just as fast and pick an Apache server page or a default page from our system to be displayed if your visitors encounter an error. If you prefer, you may also use an .htaccess file to permit the custom error pages. The file should contain a specific line of code plus a link for every single error type and you may find an example of the entire content for all four error types in our Help section.
